An Order has been made to implement changes to electoral arrangements in the Vale of Glamorgan, following recommendations from the Democracy and Boundary Commission Cymru’s January 2026 review. The changes include an increase in electoral wards from 24 to 26 and an increase in the number of councillors from 58 to 59. These modifications will alter the local government representation structure for the County Borough.
